Administrative Manager

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Word processing and compiling technical reports and correspondence for various projects;
  • Reviewing and editing documents to be grammatically correct and free of typographical errors;
  • Maintaining adherence with company Quality Policies and procedures concerning document review and retention;
  • Performing word processing and data entry using a variety of office software, including Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, PowerPoint, and Publisher;
  • Answering incoming phone calls and greeting guests;
  • Maintaining office supplies inventory, distributing mail, making travel arrangements, and interacting with office maintenance service providers; and
  • Assisting the Office Manager with miscellaneous administrative and client event functions.
Here's What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (advanced degree or continuing education a plus);
  • 2-5+ years minimum of related experience preparing documents in an engineering, environmental consulting, or similar services firm;
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products;
  • Ability to work with technical professionals and manage workflow expectations and deadlines;
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed and directed by Project Managers, to complete deliverables;
  • Familiarity with technical report and correspondence formats; and
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Formal training in Microsoft Office products;
  • Experience preparing environmental, engineering, and technical reports;
  • Strong and effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and
  • Ability to anticipate workload issues and proactively take steps to assure work is completed on time.
