Environmental Assitant Project Manager

Here's What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Project Manager within the Environmental Practice for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll be involved in the planning, organizing, directing, managing and writing Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, conducting subsurface site characterizations, overseeing UST system removals and closures, conducting asbestos surveys as well as assisting with various environmental compliance related studies at industrial facilities, mines and landfills across the country.  


Here's What You'll Need:

  • +5 years’ experience in the Phase I and Phase II environmental assessment, UST removals, permitting, environmental compliance, proposal and report preparation and construction management quality assurance of solid waste disposal facilities;
  • B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science or Civil/Environmental Engineering (MS a plus);
  • Ability to speak and write professionally, including experience with the preparation of regulatory submittals;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgeting and cost control;
  • Demonstrated business development and client management experience.
  • Ability to interface with regulatory agencies;
  • Ability to develop and monitor operational compliance strategies to meet federal, state and local regulatory requirements;
  • Certification and experience as an Asbestos Inspector
  • Ability to pursue Professional Engineering (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) Licensure;
