Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant & Receptionist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our clients and partners. You should have great organizational and communication skills, along with an attention to detail. You should be able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple assignments that require the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines. This is a part-time position with an anticipated weekly average of 16-23 hours, with the majority of these hours occurring between 12pm – 6pm.

Here's What You'll Do:
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet guests;
- Assist the Administrative Manager with general office functions and filing; and
- Work with computer programs/data entry using a variety of office software, including Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong and effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication;
- High School Diploma or equivalent (continuing education or advanced degree a plus);
- Experience with Microsoft Office products;
- Ability to work with technical professionals and manage workflow expectations and deadlines;
- Previous experience preparing documents in an engineering, environmental consulting, or similar firm;
- Ability to anticipate workload issues and proactively take steps to assure work is completed on time; and
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
